She completed the requirements of the Social Work Stream of the Major in Social Development Studies and received the Diploma in Social Work. From 1993 to 2000, Geraldine was employed in various secular counselling agencies. During this time, she critically analyzed secular psychotherapy and chose to embrace biblical Nouthetic counselling. Geraldine received training in nouthetic counselling by Dr. Ron Harris and completed NANC Level 1 training in February 1998. She has completed </B><I><B>Deep Change for Hurting People</B></I><B>, as well as the specialized course, </B><I><B>Guard Your Heart</B></I><B>. and the advanced seminar on </B><I><B>Job and  "The Lying Pen of Shoferim"</B></I><I><B> </B></I><I><B>(</B></I><FONT SIZE="2" COLOR="#000066" FACE="Arial" ><I><B>The Right Use & The Abuse of Scripture In Counselling)</B></I></FONT><FONT SIZE="2" COLOR="#FFFF00" FACE="Arial" ><B> </B></FONT><I><B>which was offered by Wellspring in the Spring of 2003. She became fully </B></I><A HREF="http://www.nanc.org" TARGET="_top" TITLE="http://www.nanc.org"><U><I><B>NANC</B></I></U></A><I><B> certified 2003. </B></I><B>Geraldine provides marital counselling jointly with the counsellee's pastor, elder and sometimes consultation with Dr. Harris.</B></div> <bR> <DIV ALIGN="LEFT"></DIV> <div> <B>Geraldine established </B><FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#CC0000" FACE="Arial" ><B>Biblical Counselling Service</B><B> </B></FONT><B>in 2000. As a nouthetic counsellor, she seeks to discern behaviour and thinking patterns that God wants to change, applies God's Word to change behaviour and thinking, for the benefit of the counsellee and for the glory of God. Geraldine counsels under the authority of God's church by working alongside the counsellee's pastor or leadership.
