Way back in 1992, when Ron first held classes in Southern Ontario, Cheryl was there and she's been with us ever since! Cheryl has been trained and examined by the National Association of Nouthetic Counsellors. She continues to update her qualifications by attending conferences held both by NANC and Christian Counselling Education Foundation (CCEF: Laverock, PA. Basically Philadelphia) This wonderful, warm, determined lady brings to counselling not just solid study and experience helping others, but a special empathy for those suffering physical affliction, she herself having to cope with MS. As her health allows Cheryl counsels out of Bluewater Baptist Church in Sarnia. She counsels exclusively within a biblical framework.
Cheryl is also quite active in ministry in her church. She is Spiritual Advisor and Coordinator of Ladies Ministries, leads Bible Studies for women and families, and sometimes teaches Sunday School Lessons from "The Young Peacemakers".
Family life is just as busy. Cheryl sure celebrated Canada's 100th Anniversary of Confederation in a big way. May 6th of that year, (1967 for you non or new Canadians) she got married! She and her husband Richard delight in God's many blessings over the years, including 2 children, and now 5 grandchildren.
